Running Accomplishments:

I have run five marathons (fastest being 3:58) and 4 half marathons (fastest being 1:45).  Those are the only races I have ever done, but I love it and I plan on trying to keep it up for as long as possible.  I want to run every race better than the one before.

Run St. George Marathon

Qualify for Boston!

Personal:

I am a teacher, wife, and mother of two little girls so needless to say...I am a little busy.  I love running with my friends, not only for the workout, but for the social aspect as well.  I just hope I can keep getting faster all the time!

What a great race!  I did my personal best 1/2 time and should have pushed a little harder.  I didn't want to bonk toward the end but felt great the entire time.  Even on that monstrous hill the last mile.  I am happy with my splits.  They are as follows...

7:43, 7:44, 7:25, 7:45, 7:36, 7:41, 7:49, 7:44, 8:05, 8:36, 7:36, 7:49, 8:21, 6:41

The 8:05 or 8:36 were up a hill and I was losing energy fast.  I took a shot block toward the top and was good to go for the last few miles.  Onward to the marathon!

You are well on your way to a BQ at SG! You did awesome out there today! Those were some tough hills, wait to push through them. Again it was so nice to meet you in person:)

Where are you? Just kidding I just barely caught up on posting my miles, , , I got behind there.

But I wanted to comment on your half time, you did SO GREAT!!! Those hills are killer at the end. Conrats on placing second overall too, that's amazing. How are you feeling about the marathon this weekend? I'm getting butterflies, can't wait to be at the start line!
